This Student Code of Conduct (“Code”) constitutes a legally binding agreement between the enrolled student (“Student”) and SAHFAR Academy (“Academy”), a fully private professional training institute operating in India. Upon submission of admission form, payment of fees, participation in classes, or access to digital learning resources, the Student shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by this Code in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
This Code governs academic conduct, financial obligations, disciplinary standards, digital behaviour, certification requirements, placement assistance policies, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Any violation of this Code may result in suspension, termination, cancellation of certification, financial penalties, or legal proceedings, as deemed appropriate by the management.
Admission to SAHFAR Academy is subject to approval by the management, which reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason. No class shall commence for any student unless the admission form has been duly completed, signed, and supported with proper documentation as required by the Academy.
Payment of fees without completion of admission formalities shall not constitute confirmed admission. Any amount paid below the prescribed admission fees shall be treated as an enrollment amount and shall not guarantee seat confirmation.
If at any stage it is discovered that a student has furnished false, misleading, or incomplete information, the Academy reserves the right to cancel admission immediately without refund and may initiate appropriate legal action where necessary.
The Student agrees to pay the prescribed course fees in full or in approved installments strictly within the stipulated time. Fees must be cleared as per the schedule communicated at the time of admission. Installment payments, where permitted, must be completed within one month of the course commencement date unless otherwise approved in writing by the management.
In the event of delay beyond seven (7) days from the due date, a late fee of ₹100 per day shall be levied until full payment is made. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of classes, restriction of access to recordings and digital platforms, withholding of certification, and suspension of placement assistance services.
Where payment is made by cheque and such cheque is dishonoured or returned unpaid, the Student shall be liable to pay ₹200 per cheque along with applicable GST. The Academy further reserves the right to initiate action under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, if deemed appropriate.
Once admission is confirmed and classes have commenced, fees shall be strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. Termination of admission due to misconduct, non-payment, or violation of rules shall not entitle the Student to any refund or compensation.
Regular attendance and academic discipline are essential components of professional training. The Student must maintain a minimum of 80% attendance in both online and offline classes to qualify for certification and job assistance eligibility.
Students are expected to attend classes punctually, participate actively, and complete assignments within prescribed timelines. Repeated absenteeism, irregularity, or lack of participation may result in suspension, batch transfer subject to applicable charges, or disqualification from certification.
Leave requests shall not be accepted through informal communication channels such as WhatsApp Group messages or email requests. Any leave must be formally communicated through official email at least 24 hours prior to the intended absence. Failure to comply with the prescribed leave procedure may attract disciplinary action.
Certification shall be issued only upon successful completion of academic requirements, maintenance of minimum attendance, clearance of full fees, and absence of any pending disciplinary matter. The Academy reserves the right to withhold, cancel, or revoke certification in cases of misconduct, fraud, or violation of institutional rules.
Batch transfers are not a matter of right and shall be permitted only in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of the management. Where approved, a transfer fee of ₹1,000 shall be payable in addition to any other applicable charges. The Academy retains the authority to adjust class timings for administrative or operational reasons without prior consent from the Student.
SAHFAR Academy is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional learning environment. Students are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, dignity, and respect toward faculty members, administrative staff, fellow students, and institutional property.
Any act of indiscipline, including but not limited to abusive language, disruptive conduct, harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour, defamation, or wilful damage to property, shall be treated as serious misconduct. Students shall be personally liable for any damage caused to computers, infrastructure, equipment, or other assets of the Academy due to negligence or intentional actions.
The Academy maintains a zero-tolerance policy against ragging, bullying, sexual harassment, cyber harassment, and discriminatory practices based on religion, caste, gender, or any other protected characteristic. Violations may result in immediate expulsion and may also attract legal consequences under the Indian Penal Code and other applicable laws.
As the Academy operates in both online and offline modes, strict digital discipline is mandatory. Students shall not record lectures, copy digital content, distribute study materials, or share class recordings without prior written permission from the Academy.
All course materials, including videos, notes, presentations, assignments, and digital resources, constitute the exclusive intellectual property of SAHFAR Academy and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of such materials shall amount to infringement and may result in civil and criminal liability.
Students shall further refrain from posting defamatory content, false allegations, misleading information, or damaging statements about the Academy on social media or other public platforms. Any such action may result in legal proceedings under applicable provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023
Academic honesty is fundamental to professional credibility. Students must not engage in cheating, plagiarism, impersonation, proxy attendance, falsification of assignments, or misuse of artificial intelligence tools without permission.
Any violation of examination integrity may lead to cancellation of examination results, disqualification from certification, permanent termination from the course, and forfeiture of fees paid.
SAHFAR Academy provides job assistance and career guidance support to eligible students who have successfully completed their course and fulfilled all academic and financial obligations. Job assistance is offered based on merit, performance, discipline record, and attendance.
The Academy does not guarantee job placement, specific salary packages, employer selection, or employment timeline. Final hiring decisions are made solely by recruiting employers, and the Academy shall not be liable for employment outcomes.
The management of SAHFAR Academy retains full disciplinary authority over all enrolled students. In cases of misconduct or violation of this Code, the Academy may issue warning notices, suspend access to classes, conduct internal inquiry, or terminate enrollment.
For serious violations, including harassment, fraud, defamation, or intellectual property infringement, termination may be immediate and without prior notice. Decisions of the management in disciplinary matters shall be final and binding.
The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SAHFAR Academy, its directors, faculty members, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of the Student’s misconduct, negligence, or violation of this Code.
The Academy shall not be liable for employment outcomes, third-party employer decisions, technical disruptions, internet failures, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Students may submit written complaints along with supporting evidence to info@sahfaracademy.com. The Academy shall review and respond within 7 to 10 working days. If the matter remains unresolved, the Student may escalate the issue to the designated Grievance Department with complete documentation for final review.
The decision of the Grievance Authority shall be final and binding upon the Student.
The Academy shall not be responsible for any delay or interruption in services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemic situations, technical failures, political disturbances, or other unforeseen circumstances.
This Code shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Code shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in West Bengal.
SAHFAR Academy reserves the right to modify, amend, add, or remove any provision of this Code at its sole discretion without prior notice. Updated versions shall become effective upon publication and shall be binding upon all enrolled students.
By enrolling in any course offered by SAHFAR Academy, the Student acknowledges that they have carefully read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to abide by this Student Code of Conduct. The Student further confirms that no oral representation or assurance contrary to this written Code shall be binding upon the Academy.
